This video compares the YouTube subscriber count of BTS (BANGTANTV) with the population of every country and territory, from the channel's creation in December 2012 to September 2026.

Social Blade and YouTube channel pages archived by the Internet Archive for subscribers; UN World Population Prospects 2024 via Our World in Data for population (estimates to 2023, medium projection after), with official national estimates for 18 countries including the United States, China, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and Vietnam. Populations are drawn between annual figures, and YouTube has shown subscriber counts rounded down to three significant figures since September 2019, so the counters are interpolated between monthly observations. No archived count exists before February 2013, so the counter runs straight from zero at the channel's creation on December 16, 2012.
